The online porn industry needs a new business model to produce more revenue. Here's how I see it.

A pay site must be treated as a feature film release with several sequels.

Advanced:

The facts are in!
New sponsors using the current paysite model will have a life span of
about 2 years and then drop off the face off the earth.

Yet new sponsors will seek to copy the old model because of the success
of a few iconic sponsors that will last forever. They will try to become
the "new blacksonblondes" and they will have about the same chances as becoming the "new yahoo!" It won't happen.

This also means affiliates can't make as much money. The old sponsor model
results in trying to promote sites with 100's of episodes of the same theme.
The shit get's old too fast and stops converting at the same time that the
sponsors dumps $50k into "new" episodes of the same old shit. The sponsor
then wants to wait to pull a profit from this before shooting again and the
profit is slow to come and death is now around the corner. The affilate is
still flying the non-converting banner because there is no new site to promote and losing his ass also.



The new sponsor model:

* A pay site must be treated as a feature film release with several sequels.

- Write a script
- Choose a star and build the star
- In other words, make a fucking MOVIE!!! A real movie!
Right now, sponsors are just parading a bunch of faces in front of the camera for a quick fuck and calling it a movie.


The paysite should make the bulk of it's money in 6 months or less and
that's the life span of the site as far as the affiliate goes.
If affiliates did their promotion well then type-in's will continue on the domain
for a long time.

* Branding gives the surfer the confidence to click the banner and join the site.

This is why most affiliates should be pushing the same site with the same banner at the same time. After the sufer has seen the banner on 50 sites he is more likely to trust it and click thru to sign up. You will get your share of the sign ups.

* Central launch:

Affiliates need a place to go where it is decided what the "Next Big Site"
will be and coordinate a launch date to get all the banners up.

GFY might be a good place to start that.

This is important because we, the affiliates, can collectivey make the
"Next Big Site" no matter what it is, by aggressive promotion.


* "Over saturation" is BULLSHIT!

- It's the length of time trying to sell the same site that leads to decline
of conversions. All interested parties have already joined over this time.
Saturation is what "brands" the site and makes the surfer confident to join.


* Too much free porn, too much bootlegging and torrent...

- Yep, just like too much free stuff on TV and Cable; but people keep buying,
renting, and going to the movies. They do it because they always want new
stuff and new stars. So that's what porn has to do, create new stuff and
new stars.

Let's look at how this "would" have worked with littlecoco.com
I choose this site because it basically has all the elements except
the central launch and a clearer, more narrow script line.

- SCRIPT: Coco want's to make the cheerleader squad and that's her motivation to fuck everyone on the cheerleader commity and get their vote. Happy ending as she becomes a cheerleader and has a lesbian gang fuck with the cheerleaders.THE END. 10 scences and that's the movie. Now make 4 sequels and that's the site. No updates.

- Central launch: affilates must treat this site or commity like the God of banners! If they say put up this banner then we all must do it. So this time they tell us to promote little Coco and the banners go up on thousands of websites.

- Build a Star: Affilates promote "Coco", not the site!!! The site is just where Coco is! Make the surfer want to see more of this star named Coco. This means lots of softcore pics and vids. Let the sufer "get to know" who Coco is. Surfers wanna see chicks they know get fucked. What does Coco have to say besides "I like big cocks"? Who the fuck dosen't know that already?

- Move on: After a few months of pushing Coco we need something else to repeat the processes above.


Everybody benefits:

- sponsors get a hot branded site that coninues to get type-ins.
- affilates get great conversions from a hot new branded site.
- models get a wad of money since they do 40-50 scences before the site even launches.

And the process just repeats.


Downside:
New sponsors will have to prove themselves to the "central lauching" people
to get their site on the list for affilates. But given the number of fly-by-night operations that have produced nothing for affiliates, do we really care?
