I'm not a huge fan, but damn, this must one of the roughests sports out there, 3 weeks 5-6 hours daily on a bycicle, sometimes at 90km/hr, no wonder that some of those guys were using dope, it must be exhausting.

When you think that in other sports they are whining when they have a 1-2 hrs game, in which they effectively play a few minutes, the rest of the time being more preocuppied about their hair or looks, at every 3 days...

A true man sport this one. Besides this watching the competition it's like making a 3 weeks trip around France, with all the amazing views and shit.

I might watch it when it gets to the final stage, but right now no! Besides what channel is it even on?

I didn't even know it was on. Once Lance Armstrong owned it, there wasn't much interest for me. Anything that gets won by the same guy 6 or 7 times in a row loses value in my book.

A lot of riders were officially accused in the last years, but never Armstrong. Or are you talking about Landis?

Both. The Tour De France guys think Armstorng doped up. they've said so. they just can't proive it.

I do not watch it, mainly because I am working. But last year at work we hooked up a computer and a projector and then we watched TDF while working - that was cool ;-)

By the time they get to the final stage, the race has already been decided.

I think the last time it actually came down to the final stage was 1989.

You should watch the mountain stage, they're pretty exciting if you're into that sort of thing.

here in NYC i dont even see advertisments for it, not since Lance Armstrong retired....i didnt even know it was on till i saw yesterdays newsday paper...
