Google just picks up text links or is this a sitemap thing?

I think if you have a clear identical menu on every single page of your site they pick it up pretty easily eventually.

Also helps if those particular pages are also getting links into them on a large scale.

Only my oldest sites (pre 2000) are getting listed like that. I wish I could make them list the others the same.

Thank you WG and all others who posted. I just went to Google and typed in my site name and I see the 4 links! I don't have a sitemap on that domain (up since 1999).

I want to have the links on another site I work on, I will try sitemaps.
