Awesome. For the most part I wont touch NATS programs. We will add this program to our to do list for our new teen network.

CCBIll id doesn't track to the join page for me. Seems to get lost in the fhg redirect. Tried several times in both IE and FireFox.

Okay, so I notice nobody is addressing what for me seems the obvious question:

Is there an issue with NATS? Do programs convert better going directly through CCBill rather than through NATS? Is there something we should be aware of, considering that probably 40% of my sponsors are running NATS these days?

Really... do tell!

RawAlex 07-11-2007 06:37 PM

Bump for an answer or a denial.

TTiger 07-11-2007 07:29 PM

after all these years i still promoting panchodog and im more than happy to see ccbill come back im one of those who have my stat falling apart with nats (same thing happen with braincash as well when they convert to nats)

I can only speak for myself but I find that most NATS programs start at 1:2000 and get worse from there. Direct to Verotel or CCBill on the same traffic for me is 1:350. This is hardly scientific, but that's how it is for me.

jmk 07-12-2007 06:27 AM

good stuff!

I am sort of figuring this might be the case, but I have nothing to prove it one way or the other. Would someone from NATS or Panchodog like to maybe clear this up a bit?

rowan 07-12-2007 08:52 AM

Is there any option not to go via refer.ccbill.com? This throws average ratios way out because every FHG load is counted as a sponsor click. :(

http://freehostedpics.com/hg/tfc/02/...piper_kitchen/
redirects to
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...=piper_kitchen

There isn't an issue with NATS. CCBill has been something that people have been requesting since we moved. Some people prefer the lump checks of CCBill, some people prefer the stats of NATS. NATS and ccbill track clicks differently. We have affiliates on both sides who have very good ratios. Some see to do worse with nats, others seem to do worse with CCBill. Why not give affiliates what they want and give them the most options we can?

Iron Fist 07-12-2007 09:16 PM

** RICO ** Please read your e-mail ASAP please!

Fairly important stuff, tried to do some test joins (didn't actually join), and am finding some problems with the CCBILL FHG codes.

ICQ 8898053

rowan 07-13-2007 01:47 PM

Any response to the issue with using refer.ccbill.com (and 2 redirects :( ) for every FHG load?

Have ICQ'd you bro, could not see the email you mentioned - we get so much, not easy to find, even with search :)

Please hit us up on ICQ, phone or resend your email and thanks for the head's up - we're interested in fixing anything that might be potentially wrong.

Regarding the redirects, Uno is hitting you up Rowan, to clarify how you have counted these and IF it IS doing this, how it can be taken care of.

We've been unable to dupe this error, however, does not mean it is not happening, we're looking into it asap. :thumbsup

Thanks for all your input, this has been quite a project for us, and as far as I know, we are the only program to offer both CCbill and a 3rd party affiliate system such as NATS. Because we use the same tours and galleries, there are bound to be small issues. Joins ARE counted, as we have verified with actual credit cards from 3 different countries and 5 different US states :winkwink:

Keep those comments coming or hit us up for any issues, we're happy to help with anything we can.

uno 07-13-2007 03:00 PM

Rowan and Sharphead, I've contacted you both via icq. I'm now awaiting a response. If you didn't get it, my icq # is 111914 so you can hit me up asap so i can get whatever issues you are having resolved and/or to better understand them.

uno 07-13-2007 03:23 PM

Still no reply to icq, but please feel free to email me: uno -@t- panchodog dawt com.

Okay. Now if I switch over to the CCBill codes, and I still have some NATS codes running as well, will that be an issue?

(Nice dodge BTW on the answer... smooth!).

As for galleries, you might try a more simple script to handle the FHG on your sites directly and do the sponsor code replace with CCBill codes right on the galleries.

uno 07-13-2007 03:29 PM

There will be no issues if you have both codes running in different areas. I also sent you an icq with no reply.

CCBill goes through CCBill and Nats goes through Nats.

RawAlex 07-13-2007 04:44 PM

Uno, thanks for hitting me up on ICQ. I understand better now the whole deal. I personally prefer CCBill processing and I will likely change many of my links over, but I can see the benefits of both.

Keep up the good work, more options for webmasters means more ways to make money... that's a good deal :)

cybermike 07-13-2007 04:50 PM

Hey please look into non console links for ccbill
