One more thing... do not trust Verotel's promoters here. These guys are just trying to earn a few buck as affiliates, selling Verotel services to fellow webmasters. Check the Verotel's link in the signature and you'll understand why they are so positive.

Verotel doesnt have affiliate/refferal program for webmasters idiot.

As far as I've seen, Verotel is the only company that will process Visa for Canadian webmasters.

And that by itself raises a little concern. Why is it that they can get around the rules when no other company will?

Yes, they do and I just reported your insult to admin.

Errr... would you borrow me your mommy for a few minutes please?

I'm wondering if we can get a status report on this issue soon. Today is a good example of why this is a problem: I can see that yesterday none of our rebills were processed but I can not load the sales for the current day to see what is going on. Either I get the proxy error or a blank page.

Another thing that I can only say "seems" to be happening is that whenever there is some sort of problem (delayed rebills or long load times) our sign ups start to plummet. This week our join click throughs to buy is about 1:60, and last week and on general average 1:30.

Please guys fix these issues!

Thats exactly what I said earlier, the error message you are all getting is 100% caused by database problems, some locks on mysql or something similar :) and during the lock no inserts can be made which causes plummeting :), simple?:)

And nasty long waits to check transactions especially weekends.

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /cgi-bin/j01a.pl.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Perhaps Verotel should separate their Verotel Pro customers from the Ticketsclub customers in the database, or even separate their high Revenue customers...... customers that pay Verotel over $10,000 dollars in service charges every month deserve better than seeing the proxy error page and waiting for the page to reload.

A 2 month bump? If I read above correctly and you paying 10k in service you are pulling in $84,000 per month. I believe they would care.

Or you do not have $750 for a Pro account.

Verotel have been doing good for my sites.

I just saw they actually upgraded their database system. No more endless waiting and proxy errors - it's lightning fast now! :)

Having been one of the most vocal complainers earlier in this thread, I now have to say: Great work, Verotel!

Hope I can praise your fancy new paypages soon. :upsidedow Unlike a database upgrade, this should be really cheap, quick and easy to do.
