Interesting. I know from seeing bondagefanatic.com higher in this thread that Boobs is doing what I do, buying recently-expired domains. (I passed on that one when it became available the other day, too many negative connotations to "fanatic" keyword for my taste.) He's obviously tracking some different keywords, and trying to flip quick rather than doing the monitize / develop / hold for appreciation thing I'm working at.

So, this is not a sneer at his judgment or pricing, he's working some different keywords and niches than I am and I don't claim to know very much about domain values on domains I haven't studied. But when I read his list, I did it with my default "is this worth an $8.88 registration fee?" filter on.

I got one "Hell ya!" (eroticweblog.com, good catch, probably worth his $500 ask) and two maybes (sluttygalleries.com and sexcabana.com.) Sexcabana.com in particular is a waffler, it's got good keywords (one power keyword, one supporting / evocative keyword) but (like so many two-keyword domains) very limited type-in potential. Meaning, it's great if you've got an immediate use for it, but otherwise a burden on the portfolio.

There's still some goodies out there, but trying to monetize them in a hurry the way Boobs does takes more sales energy than I'd ever have!
