Did the closing on the new house today, and got to meet the sellers.
They had built the home originally, and when all was said and done and I handed them the check, they presented me with every piece of paperwork I could ever hope for, and then some.
The had the original floor plans, every receipt and owners manual from the roof to the sump pump. The windows, blinds, carpets, sinks, faucets . . . you name it, they had it . . . and now I do.
You could tell there was definitely pride of ownership with them, and I thought the guy was going to cry when he signed the deed over to me. He was definitely choking up.
He told me about every tree they had there . . . and even the one they lost in a storm a few years back. It made me feel very confident that I had bought from the right guy.
