dems don't have the balls for it, they leave attacking, defaming, slandering and impeaching to the irresponsible repubs. Too bad, because I say fight fire with fire.

aico 07-05-2007 02:24 PM

The problem isn't Bush. The problem is that no one will actually do anything about it, ever. We have become a bend over and take it up the ass society, and until that changes, nothing will ever get better.

He's pro-life, anti-gay, anti-science, anti-judicial branch. He's really gravitated toward the evangelicals and a prominent one has even came out and said that his wife would be a champion for cracking down on pornography.

I like him on fiscal issues though, which is about it. I'm just curious why you'd risk your business over supporting someone the blogs conservative blogs think is cool? I put my family before some blogs.

Because he pushes the John Wayne button, and repubs are always looking for daddy figures to worship and take direction from.

If I recall that would of been around the time Clinton was elected.

All the time I have today, but the others can be easily disputed. And some dont apply to American citizens, only to enemy combatants.

Bipartisan means nothing to me (I don't give a shit about parties), and the one in 95 was blocked by Republicans and for good reason. The one in 2002 was signed, and it was signed by President Bush into law. It should have been vetoed.

It doesn't matter if the policy was around in 1776, Bush is enforcing it today. Clinton wasn't in power till 1993, and the article even states that policy wasn't really enforced during his tenure. Still, when it was done in 1991, it was wrong, just as it is now. I guess if Bush had slaves it would be OK since Jefferson did at one time.

And the others aren't refutable. I have tons of other things, like making the FCC fines so ridiculous for indecency that a radio station can be put out of business for one curse word.

All Presidents try to take our rights away. Bush has done more than many in recent memory though.

He was also a mole for the Nixon white house during watergate. You go girl.

He ain't got a fucking chance, just like all the repubs this time around. The dems are taking in so much more money this time around. It's swinging back towards the normal people again, and away for nutjobs like sticky. Only problem is it''s gonna take more than a decade to clean up clown boys mess.

Sysgenix 07-05-2007 07:30 PM

People don't realize that democrats win there will be quite a few things going down which won't help anyone:
1. Capital gains will be back to 30% base.
2. Mortgages will be not tax deductibe over $380k loan amount
3. Unions will be formed in every company possible.

Here's the kind of stand up guy your Fred Thompson is

"Thompson tipped off the White House that the committee knew about the taping system and would be making the information public. In his all-but-forgotten Watergate memoir, "At That Point in Time," Thompson said he acted with "no authority" in divulging the committee's knowledge of the tapes, which provided the evidence that led to Nixon's resignation. It was one of many Thompson leaks to the Nixon team, according to a former investigator for Democrats on the committee, Scott Armstrong , who remains upset at Thompson's actions."

So they want to start and impeachment process when the guy has a year or so left in office? Seems like a grandstand move to me, with no real point other than to get his name in the news.

There is a good indicator the Dems are running scared. Hasnt even announced his run officially, and already running around trying to dig up whatever they can. They cannot win on their own merits, so have to try to undermine those of their opponents. Pathetic.

If found guilty it could leave a more permanent mark on his presidency, as well as putting up the message that no one is greater than the constitution.

what do the dems have to do with the fact that Thompson was a rat for Nixon, and given his career track record appears to be bought and paid for by the pharma industry? Do you even read what's posted or do you just come back with some random republitard reply?

Here's the difference in this case and just about every case between dems and repubs: This is nothing but God's truth about Thompson, whereas the bullshit about Kerry and Gore was all lies, half truths and innuendo funneled through groups specially created for that purpose like swift boat veterans for truth.

Dems are afraid to speak the truth out loud because they don't want to be seen as rude and pushy, republicans make shit up and lie right to your face and never heard of the word shame. Too bad people like stickyfingers aren't smart enough to see the difference.

It is just facts. How is that not winning on their own merits? Was Thompson not a mole for Nixon? Was he not a lobbyist? Did he not vote for the things mentioned? I dont think that is undermining, just stating the career of the politician.

And your party is the last one to talk, just look at the Swift Boat group.

Lets not let Dems off the hook, they have their share of crooks and liars too.

But the parties are different like you say. Democrats are pussies and afraid to stand up to Republicans. They'd rather whine to the media then actually fucking do something about it. They got elected to end the war, they bitched about it for years, but now that they have the power they hide under their desks. They'd rather pander to labor union and unskilled workers then build an economy based on competition and innovation. They believe that making money is a bad thing, that if you work your ass off to make money you should have to give it to those who are fucking lazy.

Republicans are just sheep herders. They spout off a bunch of bullshit on patriotism and a bunch of hicks cream their pants. They aren't as intelligent as most liberal voters, so they blame everything in the world on liberal bias. From schools to media to Hollywood. When they get caught doing something retarded, it's easier to blame it on some bias then it is to take fault. They are better at brainwashing their supporters which can be seen in how they dominate the radio. Shit, they've got 20% of the party to back a career lobbyist who hasn't even declared. They are hypocrites by basing their beliefs on "Christian values" but voting against almost everything that helps the poor or less fortunate. They bitch about liberal leaning media yet don't have a problem with Fox News.

Both parties suck and don't give a shit about anyone here. They'd slit your throats and rape your family if they thought it could get them a few extra votes.
