Anyone remember BACKROOMFACIALS.COM???

Was one of the big sites back then, BangBros pulled it out of the blue and never heard about it again. I came across some of it's content on clips for sale the other day. So I just wondered what happened, I thought it was a cool concept at the time.

That site was pretty extreme for bangbros standards wasn't it?

Yeah, for some reason I had thought about that site a couple of days ago.
So wierd seeing a post about it.

It probably got "bootlegged" out of biz.
The torrent thing and Kazaa started to get big at the same time so I'm sure there were some stolen content from backroomfacials out there.

I also believe the p2p at the time made BangBros a ton of cash. It was a different time then.

I saw some of the backroomfacials content on a clipsforsale store. It was strange because I recognized the content instantly..

I just wonder why they didn't leave the site up and stop updating, they have enough other sites to cover the fresh content part.

Different times, different methods. At the time it worked. Ideepthroat.com wifeysworld.com BangBros all have made good money with it. I think it was more p2p then torrents at the time.

Connections were a lot slower and it took a long time to download a whole scene from other people, that frustration created a lot of sign ups. Surfers didn't want to sit and wait for 2 hours with their dick in their hands waiting for a video, so signing up was easier and they had everything right there. Today that is a different story.

if i remember correctly that site got a lot of bad press, the arguement was the women were being abused, I remember the word rape was put in a lot of links to that site.

i am sure the decision to remove it because the cost of the bad pr was greater than the profits made.

sort of like the bang bus video that got all that bad press way back when, bang bus removed the episode of that girl.

Yup you are saying exactly what I said down to the nose though, and they told me I was off my fucking rocker. I bet you would agree with me that those sites gained the recognition in a large part due to p2p exposure. And that it was quite key in their marketing plans.

For some reason that is the only episode I'd like to see, now that I know the details.

Anyone who has been around long enough knows that at that time, it worked.

Yup that was all I was saying was then. Was an example as to how something construed as a negative can sometimes be twisted and used as an advantage, but I was told I was a fool, and p2p was barely used for the marketing of Ideepthroat and bangbus .

I didn't know about the "rape" stories.. makes sense, they probably didn't want that kind of heat.
