myfreepaysite.com makes the dollars doing the same thing.. some how or another they are affiliated with ifriends.. after signing up with myfreepaysite.com, they require you signup with ifriends to.. "verrify your age" .. hmm

Mailing is tricky these days...

That being said, my sites do very well with Newsletter traffic.

Show them something unique, they will buy and retain.

Let me know what you need to get some promotion in your newsletters!

I agree newsletter traffic does convert well, if the newsletter is written correctly, One of the main problems is no matter how legit you run your optin lists, you will always get subscribers who bitch and say they never signed up. And complain to your host, spamhaus, spamcop, their ISP etc.. And most hosting companies wont tolerate more than a few complaints. Or even worst your host gets blacklisted by major ISPS. What hosting Company are you using?
