Anyone have a source for 70-80's TV shows on DVD?

Like Mike Hammer, Rockford Files, Columbo etc.
Need complete seasons.

I ordered from a company in Canada, parent company is DVD Avenue.
Great prices but only ship Canadapost. That was the start of our problems.

I've been waiting 2 months and only received a partial order. They claim they are out of stock on the other items. So I'm hoping to find another source.

Damn! who wrote that post?

What I meant to say was I Googled the hell out of these series and wanted complete series not just complete seasons.

All the sites that came up in the results with decent prices were this Canadian company. There must be a dozen or so, but they are the same company.

Usually even on old series companies release one season at a time. So say a series had 8 seasons and season 1 just came out. It wil probably be 6 months or more before season 2 comes out.

Yes I know they have complete seasons and probably complete series too but for example prices are $300 vs $99

Beware of some of these Canuck companies advertising great prices on box sets of TV shows.

A short while ago we had the misfortune of dealing with TVBoxset.com (we later found out operates under a dozen or more names and websites). We failed to do our research homework before ordering two box sets (WKRP and Kolchak). Months later we were still chasing our order.

All they sell is pirated crap - and good luck getting your order. They're currently under federal investigation by the RCMP. From what we've found out, they mostly operate out of Quebec under a variety of postal addresses (mostly fake).

We got lucky and managed to get both purchases refunded by Visa after a lengthy process.

My question then is how do you tell if its pirated?
I receved a partial order which was 2 movies on 1 DVD. It all looks genuine but then I don't know what to look for beyond the obvious.

The second part of the order was shipped but because I won't sign for certified mail and the notice I received from the Post Office gave very little info and I did not know what it was or what method of shipping they had used at the time.
The order was returned after 15 days. By the time I figured out that the notice I had received was the DVD's it had already been returned.

They promise a replacement order but have yet to receive it.
