$25 paypal contest - how should I develop YoungWriters.com (mainstream)
I've been sitting on YoungWriters.com for about a year now. It's making $30/month parked but I'm sure it has a lot more potential. So, hit with your best idea.
Contest rules: 1. Ideas should be simple and profitable (like, google adsense profitable). 2. I'll choose a winner within 48 hours and send them $25 using paypal. 3. Posting pics of hot chicks wont help your chances of winning (but it wont hurt them either). |

spotlight talented young writers, biographies and so forth, highlite and review their writings and achievments. sell books through amazon, and run adsense. should do well with search engines, and provide you a targetted audience with good productivity...

the above might take a little research into popular young writers of the moment, qand a bit writing on your part (or higher a good book reviewer) but either way, the domain is great, and i'm sure it will pay off quite well. you could just modify the amazon reviews...
and a hot chick... ![]() you can paypal $25 to [email protected] thank you ![]() |

Allow submissions, of course. Create two separate sections: one for articles, and the other for serialized novels. Once you develop enough traffic and interest, you can start publishing and selling ebooks through the site (using the most talented writers, of course).
You can also develop a section that accepts book reviews. Slap an Amazon.com affiliate program onto that. Solicit established or semi-established writers for how-to articles, or their perspectives on writing. This way your site is not only a resource for those who want to read original stories, but also for those who want to hone their writing craft. I have a site similar to this right now and I've been sent manuscripts before from up and coming writers. They ask me to review/advertise them. I'm selling the site, btw (I just don't have enough time to maintain it). Hit me up on ICQ if you want to know more ![]() |

hey, I intended to setup a creative writing website, but instead of it going as a seperate website it ended up running as a FB group and now gets about 1 piece of writing submitted each day.
You KEY target audience to promote to is English Students in Univ. I had a friend in the dpt. who told a few of his lectures about it at the end of a few lectures, next minute Ive got a huge boom of people who all want to share their work, get tips, get spotlight, get appreciated..... Ive bought a domain ready for when Ive got time to do it, but probably till next year. If your vision is what I think it is, you REALLY need to email as many universities as you can. Its the most talented yet most desperate writing audience you can find. Hit me up if you wanna talk about any details

It took the purchase of a new computer for me to even be able to use it. My old computer would crash with it installed.
