My new roommate is fuckin clueless

When it comes to the internet and computers:

- he asked me if he could e-mail a website by writing to www.website.com

- he surfs porn, next thing i know he's asking for help to close down the 50 or so new IE windows.

- I already found 2 dialers installed on my computer. He rebooted cuz he couldn't get out of the circle jerk and was clicking everywhere to make it stop.

What should i do?

Personally, I dont like to have anyone touch my boxes, and do exactly the same as yoru roomie there.

Seems that when people come over and see a buncha boxes there, that they can jump behind em and go for a surf, end result, something gets jacked on ya, (its always that one thing that you havent backed up yet, )

So, one computer per person please. Give him an old 286 to play with.

Yeah, in our house there is only one rule regarding my computers - don't touch the fucking things! I have everything set up perfect and nice and lean and mean and I don't want fucking Martha Stewart bookmarks or Gator on my shit.

I gave my wife an old 366 for her crap. It works good enough for her light web surfing and it keeps my system from being fucked up.

windows xp is useful for situations like yours.

You can switch between multiple desktops...it's not perfect but it's better than the situation u outlined at the top of the thread.
