Yah perhaps a different encoding rate. Could be your webhost setup, it never hurts to email them and ask that they optimize the server for web streaming.

Yeah, check a couple things with your host:

How many DNS entries should you have entered at your domain registration place? For example, you might have three server IP addresses you can enter for your doman at Go Daddy. Get those addresses from your host and then check with your domain registrar (for example, Go Daddy or Network Solutions) to make sure those IP addresses are entered in the DNS entries.

Ask your host how big a pipe they're giving you, not total bandwidth per month, but how much bandwidth they are giving you at any given moment. Do they throttle your site if traffic gets heavy? Ask the question likes this: If traffic is heavy and someone has the capacity to download files at 300 kilobytes per second, will your host actually let the customer download movies that fast, or will your host slow the download down?

Do you have dedicated server? How much memory does the server have? Does it have an array of processors, that sort of thing.

Lots of variables, and sure, you can encode your movies smaller, but they sure look good the size you have them.
