would you consider that the next big thing is already happening and is user submitted sites? whatever you call it - sites where users build the content of the site. I know this has always been around as a concept & file sharing has been around forever, but sites like utube and forums where people submit pics & videos have boomed in the last year & a lot of advertising dollars are moving in that direction.

I think its not only about the toys and stuff, but interactivity. Like datingsites today, any other non-adult communities or IRL, people want to be social and explore one way or another, either each other or some jellyfish

thing is that in adult, user submitted content can throw up some problems...

but also in mainstream I think this is nothing but a bubble

I can't remember ever clicking an add on youtube or any other site of that nature...as far as I can see this is all venture capital or shareholder money being burnt...I feel Web 3.0 is around the corner

It will be the hands off webmaster.

You will be paid to sign up to a program, a team of Filipinos will be assigned to you, who do ALL your work including board posting. You get to play games all day, which they give you for being a webmasters, and collect a check, but most will prefer epass or direct wire so they really don't even have to cash a check.

So yea, get paid to do nothing and programs will give you 70% or $75 per join for it.

I can't wait for this industry to fall on its face. Hardly a person in it knows how to run a real business. Giving away the shit they do, pure comedy. The only thing most of you are running, is this industry into the ground.

If you want to know what the hottest next trend is besides that.. it will be something involving more content theft and torrent style sites. Everyone steals from everyone, and gives it all away for free.

Lets visit this thread in 5 years and see how close I am.

The way torrent coding works will improve so that the downloading time of full site rips and movies will dramatically reduce.

No webmasters will have had the balls to stop members from downloading all their site content, so the torrents sites will fill up. No one will join sites anymore due to the even larger growing mountain of free content and we'll all have to find cam girls to provide and interactive experience...which will likely get fucked up too.

If you are only doing the affiliate thing, the next big thing may be going to get a McJob as more and more programs use things like zango and other "traffic people" to replace affiliates in their programs. At this point, the current affiliate model is like 2 - 3 years from being considered "quaint" and "history".
