    calling out the FSC (FREE SPEECH COALITION)

    you know after thinking about it, why dont they disclose how all this money they get is being spent?

    does it not trouble anyone that they dont?

    for all anyone knows they only use a 1/4 of it on fighting and 3/4 on vacationing.

    with all the corrupt shit going on these days, id expect an organization like this to freely open their books and disclose where YOUR money is being spent.

                                                                                                      I have to say I'm disappointed with the progress the FSC has done in the last couple of years. The laws got worse and they haven't done much about it.

                                                                                                      I would also like them to post more useful newsletter and guidelines about how we should all run our sites. And the legal updates could be better. They should come from them and not just links to AVN.

                                                                                                      I'm glad they exist and I donate every month no problem but I'm not that exctied with the work they have done so far. Sorry.

                                                                                                                              One thing is I dont think you should need to become a member of these organizations to sport their logo on your site. I'm not sure if FSC is like this but ASACP is like this because they have to approve your site.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  I'm not calling out the FSC but I will say that their lack of communication is why I haven't sent any money in awhile. I look at groups like the ACLU and others that fight for specific causes, and they are religious about giving updates on current court cases, progress they have made, and what's next on the agenda. I click on their court cases link and the last one listed (of the 3) was 2005.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  To be honest, the only time I see them on the boards or communicating is when they want money. I haven't heard an update on 2257 since last year. Maybe I'm just missing all the stuff that is going on with them, but I just hear a lot about how they need money, how people are donating, and then that's it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  If they want to be the ACLU of the adult industry and have a huge base of supporters, they need to step up and start communicating directly. Their "newsletters" need to contain NEWS, not where we can donate more money. Whether that's hiring a board liason to pass information back and forth, or simply getting someone on their staff to keep us updated, something needs to be done to keep full support and trust of the industry.
