You have no idea how many scumbags I've come across in 10 years of this biz who put on the 'other' face when it comes to posting publicly on boards to win the 'hearts and minds' of potential clients and webmasters. A few names come to mind because I've done business with these 'classy, respectful professionals'.

I'd rather deal with a consistent asshole rather than a two-faced scumbag who acts professional. At least I know what I'm getting...

actually, Sleazy's elite parties really are for their benefit... people go to mix with other successful business people. This gives them the chance to do real business without having to pander to 1 sale affiliates and other people who have nothing to offer them.

Oh, and before you go accusing me of what ever... I've never been to one of those parties either. I have no traffic nor sales to offer anyone at one of those parties.

But I can understand the reasoning behind them. There's nothing wrong with 1 party out of 200 at a convention to be strictly between people who want to do good business together.

This gives them the chance to do real business without having to pander to 1 sale affiliates and other people who have nothing to offer them. Oh, and before you go accusing me of what ever... I've never been to one of those parties either. I have no traffic nor sales to offer anyone at one of those parties. But I can understand the reasoning behind them.
