How and the hell do some do this? I thought you couldnt even use meta tags for *other* AVS.

On regular AVS sites you can do this usually, most of the bigger AVs systems will allow it. Most AVS's will either not list you on their links list or pay a lower, non exclusive rate per signup.

I wonder if it?s also allowed putting a couple of banners in between the scripts =)

It also depends on the avs... all the ones on my sig don't mind what other avs's you promote.
