I happen to think this sort of activity gives the industry a very bad name. Most of those hack/crack/keygen type sites are infested with badware.

Being a "free instant access" program we see a lot of the incentive join scams. One guy was pretending to give away game consoles with a membership.

Scamming is a business for these people.

That's an old scam that has been around since the start of pay per click programs... they used to make people click on banners to make a couple cents per click before handing out pirated software, xxx passwords, serial #'s, etc.

Someone should let platinum bucks know, seems to be mostly their sites.

I remember back in 97/98, you'd have to signup for a PPE program to get access to an FTP server and password would be like the 5th word of the confirmation email.
