Sushe feel free to contact me for a credit for the inconvenience. Our Virtual clusters are very stable but like any other company they do have issues from time to time that require our immediate attention. Rest assured our virtual tech team is on the case. There seems to be intermittent issues with this cluster so bear with us and again feel free to contact me for a credit directly.

Ah more un-informed comments from the worthless, moronic, bottom feeding sigwhore and paid kiss-ass who as always doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about and will get on his knees for any slimey/crooked sponsor or host that will pay him....

I have NEVER hosted at SpamAir and never will. Look at my past posts and you will find out I'm an avowed ANTI spammer. What an ignorant and clueless jackass.

Pornwolf 06-19-2007 04:35 PM

This is the first I've heard of any downtime. My sites have been up with no problems. As a matter of fact I've had coders installing and testing new apps for the past 18 hours. I think I'd know if there was any kind of downtime.

Thank you for proving my point with your eloquent attack on me. Perhaps your best buddy Mikee from Webair will give some tickets to the ball game, take you to dinner, give you a fruit basket, or perhaps provide you with some free hosting????

I heard you were a spammer once, but failed at that pretty much like everything else.

ok so if it was just a reboot then why is my shit still down

and telling a custiomer to RELAX when there are issues with his services is NOT good customer relations

time to go hosting shopping

suesheboy 06-19-2007 06:27 PM

I am still downloading the same log file since the site came back up! I may be up to 40 meg by now in 2-1/2 hours!

I need this file to get back to my client about the traffic they are buying.

Webair - expect a call tomorrow.

suesheboy 06-19-2007 07:20 PM

980 meg and still going

If you're that serious about your biz why don't you buck up and get a dedicated server? Webair's dedicated plans are much more reliable...

you get what you pay for :2 cents:

If you have a 1GB logfile, and you haven't been forced to upgrade from a Virtual account, yet, this is truly 'gross negligence.'

Gerard, you have some 'splainin' to do!

If you guys see my prior postings, I was once also a WebAir Virtual customer. I had very little luck. I gave them three months to clean up the act. It didn't happen. I moved.

Since I am no longer a 'virtual' client, however, WebAir's service has been quite decent. I have 40 days on all of my machines (because I rebooted for a new kernel), and have otherwise had no issues.

Yes. Companies love when someone paying $10/mo don't feel that they got their money's worth.

IX-Gal 06-19-2007 08:04 PM

I thaught i was just the one. Having problems. :/

Doesn't matter a customer is a customer no matter if you spent 100 bucks or a 1000 bucks and I'd be pissed if my stuff was down for that amount of time as well

I would be very surprised if anyone from Webair (or any other host for that matter) came in and made a comment similar to yours.

To think that customers with virtual or VPS plans deserve less support than what a customer with a dedicated server gets is pure bullshit.

I can't believe you have a hosting company in your sig.

Not everybody can provide two whole machines and tunneled IPs to their clients, man.

AmeliaG 06-19-2007 08:19 PM

The stuff I've got hosted with Webair is all up and fine, so sounds like it really is just an isolated thing.

It's indirect; I was speaking more of GotWebHost's own abilities and functionality than the actual content within your statement.

you obviously know nothing about customer service

I treat my customers that spend 100.00 a month the same way I treat the company that sends me 5k a month

and if there is a problem with either of their jobs I certainly dont tell them to "relax"

So, in other words, proving that you don't know jack about what we do, or how well we do it.

Well said.

It wasn't just my account that went down, it was clients accounts and they pay their own hosting.

BTW after the last major Webair screw up the Virtual accounts came up sooner.

Bottom line. Webair was rock solid for me for years with only minor bumps. They recently cut back customer support on smaller accounts and the stability has been the worst I have ever experienced from any host I have been with including free accounts with my ISP.

Theo 06-19-2007 09:21 PM

Virtual accounts have often problems. It's not isolated incident with webair. I think over the years we have used in excess of 50 different hosting co. and when it came to virtual account/vpn issues were from once in a while to common.

Argoz 06-20-2007 05:44 AM

It's not only virtual account...

A reply from the suppport:

************************************************
the issue was with another server on the same switch which was
experiencing a DOS attack.
