I have a Radeon X1300 video card in my coputer and also have a new-in-box X1650 Pro card. Does anyone know if the 1650 is better? Enough so to make it worth cracking open my PC to replace the other one?

the question is, does your motherboard support higher versions of videocard? if yes, go ahead and upgrade!Comment

there are tons of tech forums for these kinds of questions. Toms Hardware is a good place to start.email: [email protected]Comment

I'm more of an nvidia person, but yes the 1650 is superior to the 1300. The 1650 pro is about equivalent to a nvidia 6800GT/GS. The 1300 is about equivalent to a 5900XT. You would get a decent performance increase from installing the new card.
