Database for pic content
Anyone know of a database program for keeping tabs on pic content? I probably have 10,000 sets that I'd like to somehow track the niche, last time used, date purchased, etc.

I use Cold Fusion and MS Access. Cold Fusion also works with other database mySQL and MS SQL Server.
I have been working on some dynamic image galleries. The info is all stored in the database. This is where the viewers would see the galleries. http://www.vividrevolution.com/webgallery/gallery.cfm This would be in the admin area http://www.vividrevolution.com/webgallery/admin/

I suppose I could use a spreadsheet or build a database but I was hoping that maybe a program was already written to do this. I don't have the time to write or compile something myself so I'm willing to pay ~$100 for something that will do this.

Let me further explain a little bit about what I want to do...
I have about 10,000 content sets grouped on my office's server like this: c:\content\content_provider_name\date_purchased Then we use shortcuts to the sets and drop them into niche folders like: c:\content\cumshots\short_cuts_to_the_actual_conte nt_for_cumshots What I'd like is some program that can take this information and allow me to find sets based on the niche, provider, date last used, etc. It also needs to easily allow me to add in new sets. Since all of my content is kept offline this needs to work within WinXP. Any suggestions?

I have what you want, it also makes your entire image database searchable (if you spend the time to set it up.) Let me know if you're interested. |
