    Lord of the Rings - Shadow of Angmar is an amazing game

    If you like WOW then you like this as well. Personally this game appeals to me more simply because of the world you live in. It simply looks amazing. Everything breathes and lives. Trees moves, the sky is super realistic. The water is the best ive ever seen in a game. Highly addicting game play.

    Recommended game! And this is coming from someone who is not really into games.

                                          What server are you on. I am on Arkenstone. So far I love the game. The story line is great, and there are many aspects I enjoy of the game. I still dip onto my WoW account and play over there. But I am having a great time with this one.

                                                      Well you are on the USA servers, im using an Euro version of the game.

                                                      I liked WoW but never really gotten into it. This game has been addicting from the second i started playing.

                                                                                                              I've never been one to go for the online multiplayer games though. I mostly stick to the single player games for the PC (like Oblivion).

                                                                                                                          Get in an active kinship. A lot of the quests later in the game are fellowship and not really soloable and you can waste of alot of playtime looking for people to do quests with but if you have an active kinship then you can normally get quests done faster.

                                                                                                                                          looks great this game. i love those games the only problem is that you need to buy the game and that is 50 euro and then you have to buy game time. It says nowhere on the box you are getting any at least not on the normal edition. Why can't they just make a client download and let you only pay for the game time. I think they make way to costly if you just want to try it out.

                                                                                                                                                          Yeah well, its only 10 or 15 bucks or so...i know it sucks if you dont like the game but i can understand it though. Most games cost 50 bucks and they have no other costs but now they a few dozen servers most likely doing tons of bw. Plus they constantly update the game and have people online in the game to fix bugs and stuff. It needs lots of work, even after they finished the game so they need extra money for that i guess.

I play on Brandywine. Going to join a kinship made up of members of the game I previously played, Asheron's Call. Asheron's call was one of the first three MMO's along with Ultima online and Everquest. Game has been going for 7 or 8 years now. I played ac since its launch in 1999.

                                                                                                                                                                  The graphics and music are great and the fact that it is a LOTR world is great too, but it's just boring. Lack of PVP(PvM is not fun) and lack of many dungeons.... It's hard to find groups too. People are quitting fast, from what I read in the forums. I am a level 17 Loremaster on Brandywine and I just cancelled, though I have a couple weeks left on my subscription. I don't think I will play it much, unless it gets better fast.

                                                                                                                                                                      it's boring, there's auto attack and then you keep hitting the buttons for your skills, like most other MMORPGS(I think the combat systems in WoW and DDO are better and more fun though).

                                                                                                                                                                          I liked the music ability thing (was awesome listening to someone play the theme of Zelda LOL), and the animation of the capes in that game is awesome... but that was ALL I liked about that game. Sad really, it had a chance to actually compete with WoW.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Yeah, but they have to do it fairly quick. The more serious gamers that try it out and get pissed off won't be coming back even if they add that down the road. Every day they wait that's another "lifelong" customer they will lose.

                                                                                                                                                                                      I bought it and played until level 13 and I have to say, it is a beautiful game, BUT it's lacking something in the gameplay department, it just doesn't keep my attention.

                                                                                                                                                                                      One think that I definately don't like is the fact that it takes a little bit longer to level than other games. I do realize that they do have a lower level cap than other games, so it's gonna take longer, but I'd rather have a game with 100 levels that happen more often.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Oh yeah, I guess that the lack of races/classes doesn't go well in my books. I know, I know, it's LOTR, there's not a lot of options for races/classes, but it sucks, ha ha

Im playing every day. I havent worked since i have this game. Seriously. Look at my posts on gfy....i even hardly posted. Im only playing this game. Its so addicting.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Slick: I agree its a bit slow when you start. And eventhough i already liked the game a lot, after level 20 it even got better. Way better. Big group quests and way more action. It gets more addicting with every new level i reach.

I got to level 20, but I haven't played in a few days cuz my hands fucking hurt from tendinitis(I shouldn't b e typing at all prbly for at least a week)...
