I'd love to see some video of Ray Mercer training. I've read a lot of conflicting reports on where he is training but so far little to no info or feedback. I hope he is taking this as seriously and doesn't expect to get by on his boxing alone.

Ya, there was no chance of Ray winning that fight, but he just took one kick and then quit. Really pathetic. Pretty obvious he just wanted a pay cheque.

He did last a bit longer against Musashi though.

He quit because it was obvious he had no chance and had a concussion from getting his head rattled so hard. It was his 2nd K1 fight ever and happened to be against the champ, so what do you expect.

Sometimes when you get smacked like that it can really mess up your equilibrium. Same thing happened to Leija when he fought Tszyu.

Doubt he'll ever fight in the UFC... Gannon (i think) the guy who beat him in a brawl lost in the UFC quick in the first round.

I would expect a former WBO heavyweight champ to be able to withstand more than one single blow to the head that did not even knock him down or even appear to make him lose his balance.

I expect the same thing will happen in this Kimbo fight. He will go in and try to box, and as soon as Kimbo does anything other than standard boxing, Mercer will probably just give up.

The UFC are interested in Lesnar and other super heavys right now... Kimbo would draw a lot of PPVs.

Bob Sapp is a joke! Seriously, he has no skill...all he has going for him is the fact that he's a big ass motherfucker, that's it. CroCop knocked him out with a left...alot of the K-1 shit looks like fake ass WWE or some shit anyways...besides the top guys. People like Bob Sapp are just getting paid to entertain the fans, not actually fight, in my opinion.

I wasn't saying anything about Kimbo fighting Bob Sapp either...even though that would be an interesting fight. I'm not as confident in Sapp winning as you are, guess it all depends on who was writing the script.
