          Who has any interest in this crap? The US can't even convince it's best players to join the team. Where's Kobe, McGrady, Carter, Duncan, and all the rest. Sittin at home, not giving a rat's ass.

              er... 125 countries with direct transmission, including the one hosting the event, maybe? Thousands of millions spent? If Kobe, McGrady, Carter, Duncan are afraid of players being tougher, it doesn't mean it's not interesting. Maybe USA is not presenting the best team possible, but it's still a VERY GOOD one.
