What I don't understand about review sites

They want links back. I don't get it.

    Somebody please explain.

Sure, everybody needs traffic. Thats why we're paying you for it, why would we be sending it to you? Can you really expect a paysite to link back to a review on ABC Porn Review site?

Someone please enlighten me. And if you're running a review site and are perfectly happy with $35 per trial, hit me up.

Members areas are golden, but I didn't know people were asking for links from that.

But to answer the original post, it's all about search traffic. Links from paysites are quality links and will help them rank.

Ok, I'm going to rephrase. I totally understand why. Yes, it would be fantastic to have a return link. But is it really realistic?

Sly, tell them .. Sure, as soon as you add a hard link or button to my site. If you notice most review sites redirect through a script, piss on them. They want a button, make them add a hard-link to your tours.

Maybe a few review people are reading this. Paysite traffic is WAY more valuable than your review traffic. I will exchange links with any review site; When they hard-link my tours.

Otherwise the trade is ME PAYING YOU!

I've never noticed any link backs to review sites inside members areas.
              I'm just a newbie.

I have been asked, a few times.. Not in the member areas though.. They would have to pay me for those links.

I have seen warning pages, tours and affiliate program. I'm fine with affiliate program links of course.

Forget about review sites. They only promote programs that pay them money, and NEVER ever give a bad review. Seriously, find me one on a pr0n instpector style site.

Just a glorified way of avoiding being punished by search engines for being an affiliate program pusher.

If you're a small program with little exposure, giving up a couple links to the big guys like Rabbits isn't a bad thing. It gets you some exposure on a high traffic site that could balloon to other affiliates.
