Question over CCbill, glo-bill, Websitebilling for paysite

Dear all,

I have a question,

I wanna start a small niche based paysite.
Now I can't choose between

1. CCbill
2. Globill
3. Websitebilling

What we need is

1. Need to trustable
2. Has an option for webmasters to sign up
3. No startup fee
4. pay at least twice a month
5. Pay the owner of the website by check
6. When we signup today with the CC processor, it need to work fast :-) so max 1 week, no 3 months waiting etc.
6. well that was it :-)

Thnx

Marc

Hi,

I know CCbill is very big :-) Don't know what they charge% per sale.

Globill does a 15.95%

Here are some of the reasons why you should consider Epoch.

http://www.epochsystems.com/sales/

However, any of the processors you mentioned can provide a solution for you. Each has their own unique talents, as do we.

Just have a look at all the problems over the last few days that have been posted on this board re: iBill.

I personally think GloBill are the best, particularly if you want to keep your charge backs real low.

CCBill has better tracking and reporting feature and is just more well......out there.

Sorry guys. I can't resist it. Our software currently supports iBill, ccBill, and Epoch. You can use all three at once or in order of preference. These settings can be changed live at any time. Unfortunately we don't have Website Billing integrated yet but we're working on it and should have it done very shortly. Check us out at www.waypay.com and see if we can help you. We've also heard a lot of good things about Globill and PSWBilling. Globill's uptime stats are really quite remarkable. There is a company called ProBilling that has a very low rate. You might want to check them out as well. I hope this is helpful!

I read your page but I can't figure out if the software cascades to processor 2 if there is a decline at processor 1?

ACES, another processor thread.

globill++

cant complain, chargeback ratio is under .5%, pretty powerful affiliate program and tracking system. also, foreign users don't have a hard time getting in, unlike with ibill. not sure how good ccbill does with foreign signups since i haven't used them, but i always hear good things about ccbill.

btw, having a backup processor is a good thing. no reason not to go with two of those...

Looking at your list, I think you want CCBill. They have all of that and more. More importantly, they are very reliable, and they scrub well enough that you won't lost money with wicked chargebacks. I have very few complaints-- and *all* of my income comes via CCBill. That means something to me... I don't think I would trust anyone else that much.

yes, you have the option of giving the consumer another chance at a backup biller (it's their choice whether the transaction is actually retried). we have clients using both ccbill and ibill in varying modes realizing about a 10% recovery rate. ymmv.

First off, you probably want more than one processor. We've found that using a second processor can increase sales by about 15%. Also, having a second processor gives you something to fall back on when your primary has problems.

I'd suggest looking around at what other people are using. Pay special attention to who the big sites use, there's probably a good reason they're using who they are.

IBill is unreliable and has poor client services. Their affiliate program is seems geared for larger players. For approved
transactions they are by the best. Our numbers with iBill are
about 20% better than CCBill or Epoch. They offer credit card, US/Canadian check, and web900 billing.

CCBill has wonderfully responsive customer service. Their affiliate program seems to be designed for small sites. Its easy to set up but not very flexible. They're scrub rather hard so the absolute numbers you'll see aren't as good as IBill. They offer credit card and US check billing.

We haven't used Epoch in a while but they they're good to work with. They allow some very nice customization of the signup process such as multiple site subscriptions on the same signup page. They seem so scrub very hard.

If you are looking for a fast setup go with websitebilling.

They are the fastest Billingcompany I have worked with so far.

On the other side, a lot of Affiliates like CCBill as they allready

have an account with them.

I would also consider Jettis. They answer fast and it seems that

a lot of people like them.

If you want to wait 2 month and never get any of your problems

solved, then go with ibill.

This topic has been written about almost as much as the hosting threads, but here is my input.

I used to use ccbill and ibill, changed them for jettis and globill. I am doing better now even though I have a few less sign ups a month, but WAY less chargebacks.

Also, I have heard good stuff about epoch, but to be honest I still can not get over their problems of the past few years. =\ But I guess I won't change my way of thinking unless I tried them or someone else does and assures me that they are ok.

Hi didn't wanna pay a startup fee :-)

There is a one-time $125.00 signup fee that pays for administrative costs and will be applied to your first month's service fees.

and monthly 70 dollars

We have been waiving the startup fee for our customers for the most part during this ramping up period.

AlreadyTaken2, Shoplifter, and Justsexxx, if you would like to get started with iBill, CCBill, or Epoch, I would be happy to assist you. You can setup any of those billers as your primary or backup billers, with very easy management. Plus, you'll always give your subscribers that extra chance at signup if one biller declines them.

If you settle on Website Billing, Globill, or Probilling, those billers are all in the works. Consider us down the road as we plan to support them fully as well as many other billers.

Feel free to ICQ me anytime. And as Cogitator mentioned, we will waive the setup fee.

With latest news about ccbill and ibill processing CP sites, I would think anyone but them...

Epoch and WSB are the new up and coming leaders, IMHO. I've also heard good things about Globill as well...

Wizzo, ccbill and ibill both have departments that review sites for obvious support of CP or anything else that is not allowed by their service agreements. Even if a site slips through the cracks, as long as they stop processing for that site after being notified about it, they won't be held responsible. I really don't think there's anything to worry about in regards to that.

I'll check with our clients, see if they are in the same boat. But switching their primary due to that reason is totally up to them. We only switch it for them when the biller is down and not processing. Thanks for the info!

Marc,

AC Pay can do everything you asked for and then some. We pay out weekly, we charge 12.5% to 14.5% based on volume, and we have a free Reseller network that pays you a lifetime commission for everyone you refer into the program.

I'd be happy to tell you more about it and see how we can work with you. You can reach me by phone, email or ICQ.

Thanks!

Cormac
