Google Question

My site was at the top of all the search engines for allot of keywords. Out of the blue today my site is completely off Google for no reason. All of my traffic is 100% gone. I didn't do anything to my site so I'm a little confused. Also yahoo never gives me traffic for the same keywords google used to give me. What's the secret of winning on yahoo?

I think Yahoo prefers a slightly higher keyword density than Google. Google judges your site's relevance by backlinks moreso than Yahoo. You also have to keep in mind that changes to your site don't instantly impact your SERP placement...sometimes it can take weeks or up to a month for site changes to affect ranking (from my experience.)

Use Google webmaster tools and submit a sitemap if you haven't, get relevant backlinks, and post your site's URL here! There are a lot of possibilities that cannot be discussed since we can't see what site you're referencing.

The traffic will come back. One of my competitors must have done something as in submitting my site 100's of time.

Google always keep on tweaking its algorithm, may be your site was wiped out by any such change?

Damn, Its becoming harder and harder to keep the rank.

It's happened before. I was only getting 300 uniques a day from Google. I will try other ways to promote. I think it would be fare if Google let you know why they deleted your site from there search that way i can fix whatever it is i did.

Google is more predictable than Yahoo though. Did you ever break a rule, for example, created a duplicate site with the same content as your original one? Google generally doesn't take to duplicates sites as it's considered spamming. Also, do you spend for PPC advertising?
