Video quesion:converting avi to wmv
to all of you video guys, I don't deal with video ever so I am having issues turning avi files created in after effects into smaller wmv files. I tried using the windows movie maker program, but that yielded very unsatisfactory results....is there an inexpensive program that can do this well?

Define "inexpensive" I use Episode Pro. Think it run about $350.

Using a custom setting with Microsoft's Batch Encoder included with the WMV9 SDK works just fine for me.

"inexpensive" would be >$50. I don't deal with video much, so I just need something simple for a small site I am doing. I want to take these large avi files and make them as small as possible, but still look somewhat decent.
