    Sinus Infections Suck !!!

    I've been fighting a Sinus Infection for the past 2 days but today it got me. I'm all stuffed up and my head is pounding . I'm going to head over to the Doctor tomorrow morning. Just figured I'd share the misery with ya.

    OK .. move along and let me suffer .. or post something funny to help me pass the time

                              I know .. It started off as a soar throat from sleeping with the AC too high and then I was power washing the pool area and working in the Attic . I think that made it spread to the Sinuses and it went to hell from there.

                                  Run a vaporizer (warm mist) day and night if u can. Drink plenty of water. And pop your ears. See the doc. asap.

                                              I get bad sinus infections all the time. Nose sprays and things like that help for a few hours but you get twice as congested once it wears off.

                                              This is going to sound crazy but boiling up a pot of water with some apple cider vinegar in it, and breathing in the vapors after you have taken the pot off the stop helped clear my sinus up quicker than anything else I have tried. Give it a shot it might work.

                                              It sounded like a load of crap when my grandma first told me but I gave it shot and it helped. Just make sure you dont get to close to the steam and burn your face off lol

                                                          Saline nasal spray works the best. It is very cheap and it won't cause it to come back worse like the normal nasal sprays do.

Get the little salty packs too. Fill it with LUKE warm water and the salty pack and let that fucker flow up your nose.

I haven't had once since I got this damn thing a few months ago. This whole allergy season I've been breathing free. They say you can do it everyday, but I only do it when I start to get a stuffy nose or sneeze a few times.

The first few times you fuck up a little and feels fuckin bizarre the first few times. If the water is too cold, you'll feel like you got water up your nose. If the water is luke warm... you won't even really notice.

                                                                      that pounding headache, especially if you bend down to pick up something from the floor.. yeah thats when its best.

                                                                      And sometimes that pain above your forhead, you know... like someone stabbed you in the head with a screwdriver, and snapped it off? Yeah man... thats great shit.

                                                                      And feeling like your eyeballs are going to pop out. Well whats better than that?

                                                                      Oh, and when its REALLY a good one, you know when it hurst to touch your face under your eyes!!

                                                                          I too use this method, I sometimes use tea tree oil or oregano oil in addition to the vinegar. I also use Saline spray ( PLAIN saline spray ) to keep the sinuses irrigated. It works for me

                                                                                      I've seen that before and always wanted to try it. i just figured it was bullshit but if you say it worked for you i'll try it. I get sinus pressure all the time and it would be great it that helped ..

                                                                                          I had one that lasted over a month, until I got off my ass and went to the doctor.
                                                                                          I even damn near lost my voice for 2 weeks because of it.
                                                                                          It was bad, almost like I was whispering.
                                                                                          When I had to yell at the boys...it was like I would start yelling and nothing came out..lol

                                                                                              I remember a long time ago. I used to go to an ear, nose and throat specialist in Indianapolis and he did something like that.
                                                                                              Put a hose up in my nose and hooked it to a machine that shot water running thru my sinuses. All kinds of nasty shit came out of my other nostril. and them switched and did the other side.
                                                                                              People would be amazed by all the old shit, up in your sinuses that are up there that has been there a long time.

                                                                                              Its kinda like cleaning our the gutters...lol
                                                                                              But it does work.
                                                                                              I may have to try that too.
