What software or service will issue a number and the fax would come to your laptop?
Thanks!

i've been using Efax daily since it started in 1999
there was a free service, not real sure now
my bill is usually about 20 dollars a month but I pay extra for a 1 800 toll free fax number
It totally eliminates the need to have a dedicated phone line sitting their just to receive faxes

FYI: I was using send2fax.com - mainly for receiving. I started getting some spam faxes, no biggy. But then I recently tried to send a fax and it wouldn't work. Couldn't get any support (weekend) so I cancelled it.
