Converting ASF to anything
Recently, for a client, I've been handling their Webshows and we're doing them through a Windows Media Server.
We have archives of all the shows - the Media server keeps them. But they are all in this funky ASF codec and I'm trying to find the best way to convert them to something else so that eventually I can post them on the clients site. Any tips or tricks on converting ASF? So far all the ways I have found are rather difficult. |

I am pretty sure that the .ASF's will work just fine. They are pretty much the same format as .WMV. If it doesn't work on it's own maybe use an .AXS file to call it, then if that doesn't work try to rename the file to .WMV.
Good luck.
