Ok I'm probably beating a dead horse here cuz I haven't read to the end of this thread yet, but process severs generally aren't legal representatives, lawyers or barristers, that would be unethical (Ethical lawyers?) for them to deliver legal notices of motion by either themselves or someone from their office, so they will either hire a private messenger service or a process server to do their dirty work for them, and yep, a lot of these little assholes just LOVE to say shit like "Consider yourself served" so they can feel all important sbout themselves then go home to their rent controlled bachelor apartment and play the Nintendo that they only have 12 more payments to make on...
