I already emailed boilsoft and they are taking way to long to respond. I know lots of you use this program AVI MPEG ASF WMV Splitter i have verison 3.25

trying to make 12 second clips .... and they end up being different in size and not being 12 sec.. sometimes it becomes 11 seconds other time 24 seconds.. even tho i know the timing is right?

    Help anyone?

Do you mean you take the total time of the clip, do the math and then chop it into how ever many pieces are necessary to get 12 second clips? Chops perfect for me every time this way.

Though we did have a problem with an older version that would stop cutting videos if you broke them up into folders and tried to chop an already chopped clip. Very strange bug but an update fixed it.

This is a result of the source file being encoded with a hacked codec ...

Whoever encoded the original scene decided to find a FREE codec pack online rather than pay for the codec.

If you recompress the video with a proper codec, then your slices will be dead on every time.
