    Leisure Suit Larry Turns 20!



    Happy Birthday, Larry! One of Al Lowe's dedicated fans lets us know that on June 4, 1987, Sierra shipped Leisure Suit Larry in The Land of the Lounge Lizards to retail. Where it bombed. At first. Then the little adventure game about a sleazy, hapless, dateless schmo became one of Sierra's most popular series.

    And then Vivendi ran it into the ground. Between an awful PlayStation spinoff, a botched PC collection, and a... a... cell phone game, age has not been kind to Larry Laffer. But that's okay, because we'll always have our memories. Ah, the pretend sexual exploits I had when I was 12. Thank you, Al.

          oh man, i remember that game. I remember their age verification to make sure you were old enough was asking you questions that only an 18+ year old would know. Too bad we can't use that age verfication scheme these days!

                  awesome game... I used to play it at work for hours back in 92.

                  A buddy showed it to me and he had been playing it for months before he realized you could actually get in the cab and go places.

                      I'd have to disagree with you, Magna Cum Laude was one of the best offerings the leisure suit larry franchise has had for a long time. love for sail was pretty good, but other than that, land of lounge lizards was pretty much the best...

                                                                  Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
