    ccbill gives 2 shites

    I joined a site that advertised photos of a chick that I really dig.
    (you probably know whats coming next) Upon entering the members area...I get routed to another site...and the content that was HEAVILY advertised...is nowhere to be found. Total bait and switch...and it's done so, so poorly.

    So I call CCBill to let them know these guys suck...and here was Stuarts' (from customer support/ tech help) response.

    "Do any sites actually have the content advertised on their sign up page inside the members area?"

    I said "Did you really just say that?"

    Then...after no response I said yes...my site for instance.

    To make a dumb story dummer, he said that technically they are not doing anything wrong...but he couldn't really explain as to why.

    Anyone wish to expand on this...I guess I'm missing something.

    This is the kind of shit that continues to give the online adult biz a bad name...but what doesn't these days.

      I agree with what your saying....but technically he is correct.

      Also, ccbill isnt responsible for the site, only the payment processing.

                  Isn't there some sort of legal obligation to accurately describe your product in the promotional material (ie, paysite tour).

                  Surely, if the content within the member's area is nothing like that which is on the tour, nearly every member is going to chargeback. And rightfully so! What's the point?

                                                      If the sites advertise pics, videos, etc. and use various models on the tour, then have pics, videos, etc. in the members' area, regardless of the models involved, then they have given what they advertised.

                                                      If they advertise that certain models will be in the members area, then they can't be found.. that's a different story.
