The right amount of Links for a Blog ?

    Hello everybody,

at the moment i'm working on a new set of blogs and i'm asking myself what's the right amount of links to

    a) blog directories
    b) friendly sites ( hardlink trades )

What experiences have you made in this question ?
The other question is, how much links you ad to your blog on just one day ?
I have read about one Link per day. How do you handle this ?

    Looking forward to your answers...

i usually do 6-10 blog directory links & 3-5 similar site links in the first 2 weeks of launching a blog...then I mix in A-B-C trades & paid links on a regular basis after that...seems to work well, best thing is to try a few different things out yourself on a few different sites and see what works best

I do the same thing with BlogDirectory links as themachinelavene but eventually I end up with 50+ BD links on every blog and I would like to know is that to much?
As for hardlink trades, I try to get as much as possible in the same niche as my blog.

On a bunch of blogs I only had links to blog directories. Maybe 10 - 15 of them. Those blogs were all PR 3 pretty fast.
