Latin sound "V" (not a letter, but as it sounds in words) have a corresponding letter in Cyrillic which is spelled as "B".

"da" = "dah" (the "h" is unpronounceable). "yeah" would sound in Russian like "aga", or "aha", or "ugu".

Yep, if you are using Latin letters you have to type "v". But if you have Cyrillic keyboard, you have to use "B" (Cyrillic "B" is not a same as Latin "B")
