Sam was a genius - anybody who listened to Howard Stern during Sam's heyday knows it was as good as it gets. Sam was totally out of control but brilliant. They were supposed to make a movie out of his brother Bill's book 'Brother Sam' but either I missed it or it still hasn't been made.
Bill Hicks was another genius from the same era. It was a golden age for raw comedy.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

The tribute reminds me of a funny story. I was walking through the Imperial Palace in Vegas once and my chick and I stopped for a beer at their center bar. I look over in the corner of the bar and there is Sam Kinison, sitting and having a beer. We both freak and think "Holy shit, we need to get a picture and autograph!" when it suddenly dawns on us...Sam Kinison is dead. He was an impersonator from the Legends of Rock and Roll show they have there and he was so fucking dead on with his look that he fooled us both for a minute...Comment

One of my favorites. He had the same birthday as me Dec 8th. The 15th aniversary of his death was last month. Ironically he was killed by a drunk driver. Fucking punk still brags about it. Asshole got almost no jail time. Someone should shoot that fucker.Comment
