That's a great point. But what are the different marketing strategies? Or is that asking too much? I'm new here, obviously with my 1 post. But certain marketing stratagies that work for one site may not work for another. It's all in the execution, I think.

I would guess a niche tgp draws more traffic than a niche blog or review site. However, the quality of the traffic differs substantially.

For instance, traffic attracted to a shemale tgp wants free shemale porn. The galleries they see are advertisements which work on impulse mostly. Review sites attract prospects actively seeking opinions on products in order to make an informed purchase.

There are more people looking for free porn, so naturally tgps get the most traffic. It really is anyone's guess which model makes more for the webmaster, all I can be certain about is your typical tgp burns more bandwidth.

If you're starting out I would keep in mind one thing : target your traffic with quality content. The more you target, the more you earn. That applies to tgps, link lists, blogs, reviews, or any other way you care to present your sales pages.

and quality targeted traffic involves solid link building, I suspect. Where would you start to build links? I can think of some obvious ones, but I'm wondering if there's a community-driven, recommended means to do this?

This will answer your question :

You'll notice a lot of webmasters on gfy exchanging links like crazy. Unfortunately it's no longer 2002 so you need to formulate a better link popularity strategy.
