I know there are a lot of charitable people on here and thought some of you may be interested in helping out a friend.

My friend is looking to take part in a 525 mile bicycle tour to raise money for The Arthritis Foundation. He's looking to raise $2900 in donations.

From him:
"I have taken on a personal challenge of physical endurance and strength. I have taken on a challenge to make a difference. This September I will be traveling to San Francisco to participate in a 525 mile bicycle tour. However, this will be no ordinary trip I will be cycling for The Arthritis Foundation as a member of the "Amgen California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour." On behalf of The Arthritis Foundation, the tour will be raising funds to support research and community based education programs for those millions of men, women, and children affected by arthritis. By September 7, my goal for this tremendous, life changing challenge is to raise the $2,900 that is required for participation. "
