you guys are all saying Liddell will win... He got his fucking ass beat by Jackson in the first fight. Beat bad. Jackson out punched him and picked him apart at will, slammed him to the ground and straight fucked his world up. there was no point in the fight where it even looked like Liddell stood any chance at all.

You are totally right, he got his ass kicked so badly last time but I still wouldnt count him out just yet. Rampage also got his ass kicked lately by Mauricio Shogun and it was bad... real bad... worth a look:

there's no question that shogun came out and took total control of the fight. of course anyone can lose a fight. i was more commenting on the fact that there isn't really much basis to support liddell over jackson. i think jackson is a still a much better fighter on his worst day than liddell is on his best. who will win? who knows. thats why its exciting to watch

That happened way back in 2003. I think he has improved his game a lot since that time. I'd be surprised if Rampage can take him down even once. Rampage looked pretty rusty in his first UFC match, and even admitted he wanted to fight a couple more guys before he goes against Chuck, but Dana White basically forced him to take this fight.Comment

Here's what I am thinking:
a) Liddell was hurt in his first fight against Rampage (broken ribs I think)
b) Liddell trains like his life depends on it
c) Rampage is probably over confident (but it's hard to tell because that's his personality)
d) Liddell wants this fight real bad
e) Liddell is a much better fighter than he was the first time he went agains Rampage.
f) There have been a lot of upsets recently
Over all I think Liddell has the advantage based on these observations. Obviously like any fight, this could go either way (but let's not forget that everyone was picking CroCop and then he got beat at his own game). I think that Rampage is going to put up one hell of a fight, but in the end he will be caught with a punch that will knock him out.
