Fuck! They are renovating the apartment next to me and it's loud.. What can I do?

It's really loud. Sometimes the walls start shaking.. Stuff like that. Should I ask my landlord for a discount while this crap is going on? Any ideas?

Depends on the time of the day I'd say, if it's just in the morning and the afternoon, you can't do much about it, if it's 24h or at night, a discount is certainly fair.

Thats the way things were done when I grew up.

You can either be part of the problem (simply complain) or the solution (help or be understanding.) We all annoy our friends, family, and neighbors at times. It isn't the end of the world.
