US Appeals Court says thumbnails are fair use.

In case you haven't been following the Google v. Perfect 10 court case, Google scored a partial victory yesterday in a case that is likely to have major implications for the evolution of copyright law online. In a 2004 lawsuit, porn merchant Perfect 10 accused Google of infringing its copyrights in two ways: by displaying thumbnails of its images in its search results and by framing third-party web sites that contain full-size copies of its images when the user clicks on a thumbnail.

Fling.com doesn't steal your traffic and sales unlike some other dating companies. I promote them, and so should you!

Most of my traffic to my blog comes from google picture search.

If I take a photo and put it online, I'm doing so in an attempt to get traffic to something. So if Google wants to use a thumbnail of my picture and use it, so be it. As long as they send me traffic.

Some companies use copyright lawsuits as a form of secondary income. Anyone who says Google Images is harming anyone is a fool.
