woj and shoehorn... my loves!!!!
where the fuck is chio? :( |
You should stick around and at least entertain us with your cartoons. Those were hilarious.
|
Bro, I didn't know you but after reading that post I'd forgive you. You are only 21. You have a lot of time time learn. If you don't fail you will never figure anything out.
I gotta admit, your pics were funny as hell. I remember one about how spam works. I still crack up when I think of that cartoon. |
Where is the picture of the bike you bought?
|
I was going to ignore this thread, but figured I should clear up a little of the slant.
It was 5000 + 15%, 5750. SOS had paid back 4000. The guy that loaned him the money was still waiting on 1750. During the time that he still owed money he asked for another loan for a motorcycle (approx $10k). The guy I got the domains from said no. He then got the money from someone else and got the bike anyways. SOS then missed the deadline for repayment because he couldnt afford to pay the guy back. That is when I got involved. It should be mentioned that the "paper holder" did not sell the domains to me right away, but rather a couple months later after he tired of the "checks in the mail" it will be there "next week" and other excuses that we all saw posted leading up to this debacle. Nice twist to the story though. I think the moral of the story is, just because you are 19 does not mean that you already know it all, and when people with more experience offer you advice, you should probably stop and listen. Also, if you play with fire, you could get burned, as shown by the fact that someone who could care less about the real value of the domains might be willing to purchase them at an inflated price just to get rid of you. |

and i didnt ask him for another loan you inept idiot. I asked him that AFTER i paid him back, if he wanted to do another loan... i didnt ask him for a loan while i still owed him money. |

How about a few lessons to avoid what happened to you? That would be nice actually.

Batts that is just plain mean. You should not wish that on anyone. |

The only time you should consider starting your own program is if you already have a massive amount of your OWN traffic to play with. |

Never spoke to you or pushed any traffic to you SoS but I use to get a kick out of your artwork - stick around and keep on with the cartoons :thumbsup |

So what are you doing now? You gave up on adult?
We joined at the same time though. You spend like too much time on GFY and not much on your program. Thats the problem... |

batts, way to show your professionalism in this thread!

. . . SOS: Well... Baddog sort of summed up a couple of my feelings... Some of us weren't "against" you, but we were very blunt with our advice etc. But you thought you knew it all and weren't willing to swallow your pride and just do what was smart for biz. Whatever.. it's done and over... Nice to see that you learned the lesson about traffic first... many of the people in this biz should learn that one. |

Yeah that's what I want to know... Good luck in any future endeavers |
good to have you back.
if you never fail, it means you arent taking enough chances. whats good is to see someone admit they failed so they can learn from their mistakes, which automatically puts you a step ahead of the gfy resident know it all. |
this guy was always very cool and funny... particularly for his age. he owned up to his issues and accepted responsbilitly. can't believe how so many would act like he is passing around AIDS or something... particularly with all the liars and scammers in this biz that are actually stealing significant amounts of money and acting in a way that hurts everyone.

WOW! I just read the thread. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You are smart, driven, (and funny as hell) I think you'll do well no matter what you do. Just learn from your mistakes and try not to duplicate them. I wish you luck with what ever you decide to do. Welcome back and try to pop in more often. |
Live and learn, SOS... :thumbsup !!

My behavior in this thread was completely inappropriate.
I would like to apologize to Sonofsam and to anyone else here that I offended, I had a few drinks that evening and it is no excuse. |

SonofSam, its been apparent to me since way back that your biggest problem and the reason you failed is because you're not honest. Not only are you constantly lying, but you get caught lying every time.
|
You'd think this one would be like a 10-pager by now
|
I'm pretty new myself, so I wasnt around when all this happened, but I am young (20) and like you, have come to understand the meaning of failure, just without having to deal with it on a scale as large as yours. If there is one thing that failure can teach you.. its that you havent truly failed, until you've given up on yourself. Aslong as you can walk away from this failure and learn from it, then it's no long a failure, just a learning experience at a time in which you didnt neccesarily succeed.
Im young, I took the chance to come on these boards and basically put myself out there, let everyone know im inexperience but have the passion drive and the willingness to do what it takes to make it in this industry. Luckily there were people on the boards that understood where I was coming from, and could see I was hungry to learn and be successful and got a chance most people in the industry would kill to have, by getting the opportunity to learn from J$tyle$. Not to mention, the instant loyalty and respect I got from Dwreck putting me under his wing and inviting me out to meet people. Those two people are truly gems to me and I will always be greatful and loyal to them for that. If i succeed its because of the large help fro m them. Where i differ from you is I didn't take the huge leap i took a baby step then a couple more with the help of some people I truly consider great friends. You on the other hand might've been trying to do to much at once for a beginner. But you admit your mistake, and haev come here for forgiveness, and that in itself is the beginning of a whole new success for you. I can see people here truly beleive in you, you have something inside that just gives off the vibe that you're going to do great things in whatever industry you decide to get into. You might have a few more failures along the way, but aslong as you get back up and keep trying, beleive in yourself and just go after what you want at full force, there's nothing that can stand in your way. &thats my 2 cents for the day. I wish you the best of luck, and you have earned my utmost respect. |
hey, good look in future endeavors, and don't lose heart or face to a bunch of online alias'
Apart from the one's you've met with in real life, everyone here is nothing but an online alias. Just go out into the real world and have a beer or a bag of chips :thumbsup |
