I think the subtitle to this thread should have been "Who is the most ignorant and narrowminded"
I mean, come on.. I know plenty of people who are black, jewish, white, christian, muslim, cathoilic, italian, polish, german, asian.. whatever else.. who are honest and fantastic people, and I have had bad experiences with people of the same heritage or denomination. The color of your skin, the birthplace of your ancestors or the god you pray to has nothing to do with the quality of your character or the love in your heart. We must learn to take and evaluate people as individuals, not as groups. Everyone says stupid shit from time to time. 12clicks does, jammyjenkins does, I do... but that doesn't reflect on everyone that you identify with, nor does it completely reflect on your personality of perspective. Am I wrong in this? |
