It's that attitude that allows them to take our freedoms. If people raised hell and demanded that our constitutional rights be protected from our own government they would listen to us. Write your representatives. Attend protests and rallies. I read somewhere that someone once said ,"People get the government they deserve." and the truth is that if we are all willing to sit by while our freedoms are stripped than we deserve it. A lot of people died so that we could have the freedoms we take for granted, and it's a disservice to their memories to let them go without a fight.
