Th gives best servece for sellers against choker, also they have more understadnability stats for sellers
(when i sell to chocker i even can't see my profit per day, i must make some calculation to understand this simple thing)
Chocker - u have oldest traffic system, why u didn't do this ? Useful stats it is very important for me.
btw - fpc has simple per-day stats.
About traffic quality - if u want bye quality, don't select niche-mix, bye directly from domain, select some good niche domain look at toplist to avoid cheaters - and bye, all traffic broker allow this.
Now i sell most of all to th, and rest to fpc.
Time to time i try chocker to compare, but now th better on my mind.

As in everything in this world, you get what you pay for.

I've heard plenty of whining from webmasters saying TH traffic (and some others) doesn't convert shit. Probably it's as much to do with where you are sending it as the source.

As for the email, no, it's not "nice" but hell TV commercials compare themselves to competition all the time (taste tests, etc.) - the only problem I see is if he outright lies, which you claim he has. Not nice.

TrafficHolder 05-14-2007 10:55 AM

Choker,

The first thing, I've contacted sellers only few times, if we
were unable to fill out all buying orders. I never spam
your sellers, I just spoke with few of them.

Second thing about fee, yes we take 5% fee and as I told
before at another board, we currently only cover our expenses with
this low fee. Host we do not lease, we own. CC fees paying
by buyers. We accept ePassporte without fees.

Regarding sellers, many of banned sellers in our system still
selling traffic to you. We have no hitbot traffic, our monitoring
system is extremely strong. Moreover, we do not accept traffic
from new sellers by default, we accept traffic from older,
established and reputable sites where we carefully review
trader's list and everything regarding seller when he apply
tof a traffic sales.

And regarding "the rest of them have not figured out what you are doing yet".
We work with them for almost one year, I think that is enough time
to "figure out"

The best way to ensure that we do not sell hit bot and low quality traffic,
that is simply review our sellers list.

Those who was not satisfied with traffic productivity, the best way is
to buy traffic by domain/referrer with a best prod at your site. Mixed
traffic rarely will show good results

I appologize. Yes, your commission is little higher (35-45%). I was wrong,
but I was wrong in your way.

Took from your Sellers/Resell FAQ

"If you do choose to let us try to sell your traffic through other niches, any sold traffic through our niches will still earn you 55% to 65% of the retail price"

It's actually 65% of the retail price, thing is EVERY buyer gets 10% to 20% off retail, do the math.

Not impressive.

Choker, it's been a while since you and I did business. Could be a good time to change that.

Are you able to take CC payments yet?

Hey man, long time, yes we do take cc now

Great.

I'll have to see if I can find my old account login info.

I had a bunch of those "nest egg" points racked up a long time ago, would they still be good? :D

ThumbLord 05-14-2007 04:44 PM

bad move on behalf of Traffic Holder.

TrafficHolder 05-14-2007 04:59 PM

Choker, no worries please. I contact your 1 seller only one time
few days ago. I just asked him to try us. Anyway I appologize here
and we will never use this type of promotion. All your customers
will remain the same. We will never touch them and even talk
with them again.

Don't be such a pussy... fuck that shit... competition is the name of the game... it's not like you two are running tgps and need traffic trades. I have purchased traffic from each of you and my opinion is that neither of you have good niche traffic (from mixed sellers)... it's all shit. The only way to get good traffic from either of you is to buy from specific sellers... so that said... the only reason I see for any seller to use either of you is for the delivery system...

I think that the way either of you do things is ass backwards and why I don't sell traffic through your system. I can make way more sending it to select sponsors. In my opinion, if you approached it more like adbrite or adengage type of systems do then we would all be better off and not have your shitty traffic running rampant through the adult network. Your whole methodology is flawed from a higher perspective and you accept traffic from the shittiest sources on the net and profit through pure bullshit.

I came to this conclusion the hard way.... by wasting over $5K on it. It is funny how poorly your "niche" traffic converts... I buy $5k worth of traffic and make $200 in sales. I will admit that my experience may have been a bad one... but after 5 years in this biz (I know you have more choker) I think I have the experience to know a shitty deal when I see one.

Why am I being critical of traffic brokers? Simple... because the majority of the shittiest websites on earth make the majority of their money selling to you and you make $$$ flooding networks with it by selling it to people I consider to be idiots at this point in my adult career. Your crap traffic drives conversion rates through the roof... it eats up bandwidth... it promotes cheaters and criminals. It's no wonder that sponsors started shaving...

For a long time I subscribed to the same methodologies that I see a million other webmasters (specifically tgp webmasters) use... and it sucked. Start a tgp... buy traffic... get trades... buy more traffic... get more trades... buy more traffic... get more trades... cj... cj... cj... what a waste of fucking time. I stopped accepting trades from people I knew were buying feeder from either of you. Guess what happenned? My network grew and my sales tripled. Imagine that... So stop your fucking whining and start a service that actually contributes something... take Hunter for example... I can make $4/K selling to him... clicked traffic only... I have another broker I sell to as well and make $10/K... all clicked traffic... no skim... (Don't even ask me who it is because I won't tell you) Why don't more people sell to them? Well... first of all... it's not the "short cut"... the "easy way"...

The biggest lesson I have learned as a webmaster is that only actual work will bring long term results... I know you know that too... start promoting that and I bet you won't see the drop in traffic you guys have been seeing (or the increase in bullshit traffic). Stop petty name calling and actually compete.

rowan 05-14-2007 09:53 PM

nation-x, I feel you're holding back. Is there something you're not telling us? :thumbsup :Graucho

People can still make money with skimmed broker traffic, but it's getting a lot harder. Even back in 2002-2003 when the quality was much higher I wasted a shitload of money trying to get my sites going.

rapmaster 05-14-2007 10:03 PM

Damn, we were going to spend about $1500 with them for our startup, but I'm having second thoughts now.

Zuzana Designs 05-14-2007 10:14 PM

Always done really well with Chokers traffic.. ;)

SuzzyQ 05-14-2007 10:26 PM

I wish it was easier to buy traffic from Choker. I feel like I have to jump through hoops.
