I actually trimmed up a good bit by switching from beer to vodka. I'll report back in a month or two with further results

What about switching from vodka to pills or snorting powders or smoking rocks? That must be less caloric.

Bullshit that you don't have enough time to exercise. That is such an outdated and lame excuse.

Outdated?

You mean like people used to have more spare time than they do nowadays? :upsidedow

Hold on a second here. There's nothing wrong with white rice. It's the same carb as brown rice. The difference is that brown rice has thew whole husk around it still making it a whole grain. White rice cooks faster and easier that brown rice so it can be a lot more convient.

No there is nothing "wrong" with white rice like cookies, cakes etc. But if you're going to eat rice, it has relatively little nutrition relative to brown. Empty carbs. That'smy point.

No, no, no and no again. It's the SAME carb. The only difference is the fiberous husk. White and brown rice have the same carb value.

I know its the same carb. More fiber = more nutrition. Less nutrition, emptier carbs.

JP513 05-15-2007 11:23 PM

I'm not here to argue. You're making a point and disagreeing with something u think I said but did not say. At no point did I say brown rice has less carbs. I said white rice is "empty carbs" because is has less nutritional value. It might be a bit too strong, but what I said was that rice eaters should eat brown rather than white--because it is more nutritionally dense. I think any nutritionist will agree.

Have a nice day. Otherwise as I said I agree with your original post.

Angelo, I bet it's impossible to drop weight in Italy (keeping in mind all that national cuisine :) )

Ever tried dancing? To something like italdisco?
