I've always thought of it as white folks saying combining the "N" word with white and viewed it racist because of that.
Not sure, how you can act like another race either...that's another reason why I think it's a racist word, lumping all black folks together and saying that they ALL act the same.

You also need to understand that there is a difference between some square ass kid from the suburbs that has never interacted with real black people in his life trying his hardest to be a thug, and a white kid who actually grows up in a "ghetto" area with actual black people. The latter is simply a product of their environment and they usually aren't on a mission to "act black," they just speak how everyone has always spoken around them as they grew up. If you are isolated somewhere in middle America and know nothing about urban life, then you probably will never understand...Comment

I guess I can see how it can be taken as racist. I just never understood why they think they can act black. How do you act black? I think most people do not like that.
